1. Nature of Contributions
Prontly is a free platform. To support its continued operation and maintenance, we invite users to make voluntary financial contributions ("donations") via our donation link powered by Razorpay.
All contributions are entirely voluntary. Making a donation does not grant you any additional rights, premium features, priority access, or commercial licence beyond what is already freely available to all users on the Platform.
2. Payment Processing
All donations are processed securely through Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway regulated in India. Prontly does not collect, store, or process your payment card details, bank account information, or UPI credentials at any point.
By making a donation, you agree to be bound by Razorpay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
3. Refund Policy
Important: As a general rule, all voluntary donations are non-refundable. By completing a donation, you acknowledge and accept that no goods, services, or specific deliverables are exchanged for your contribution.
Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Considered
Notwithstanding the above, the Operator may, at their sole discretion, consider a refund request in the following limited circumstances:
- Duplicate payment: You were charged more than once for the same intended transaction.
- Technical error: A verifiable technical failure (on Razorpay's or the Operator's side) caused an unintended charge.
- Unauthorised transaction: Your payment credentials were used without your authorisation (you must also report this to your bank).
How to Request a Refund
To raise a refund request, email support@prontly.in within 7 days of the transaction with:
- Subject line: "Donation Refund Request"
- Your Razorpay transaction/payment ID
- The amount and date of the transaction
- A brief description of the issue
We will review the request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed through Razorpay back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days, subject to Razorpay's processing timelines.
Consumer Protection (India)
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction.
4. Tax & Receipts
Prontly is operated by an individual and is not a registered charitable organisation. Donations to Prontly are not tax-deductible under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (India) or equivalent provisions in other jurisdictions. A payment receipt from Razorpay will be issued automatically upon successful payment.
